the edit finally.
But well... I couldn't get the internet connection from my room.
Merlin save me
Have I nagged about the seminar yet?
Fine I admit.
The food was good,
(understatement if you count 6 buffet a day as good)
the people are nice,
(my group thank MERLIN does not have anyone who ostracise YJ, but hello? according to the newest ranking, some school who does ostracise us
are in fact, of a lower ranking then us.
not in the alphabetical one thou of cos.
duh.
YJ isn’t that good. But it isn’t that bad too.)
The activities are fun,
(running around NUS and outside Georgies Mart
and sing the irritating Barney Song
ending off with a “BIG HUG” as a form of forfeit
must be the most embarrassing moment in my entire life.
Well besides…)
The SOL(W)s are great,
(he looks likes his son!)
The filming was interesting,
(We won! We won! We won!)
The late night ghost story telling was great,
(if not freak the hell out of me.
Josh’s story is still haunting (no pun intended) my mind)
BUT…
The room is puny,
(a bed, a chair, a closet, a study table, 2 lights, and a sink.
Reminds you of something?
The only missing this is a toilet bowl and we are all set.
The transponders just added to the ‘scene’.
The window binds makes noises in the night only adding to the “spookiness”.
Someone told me that evening that "thank goodness" her room isn’t facing the slope.
She could totally imagine something floating down the slope in the middle of the night.
Thanks.
My room faces the slope.
DIRECTLY.
The room does not have air-con, which is fine,
to a certain (quite small actually) extend,
as the fan is quite cooling with the windows open
but it’s humid.
Totally.
The pillow looks fluffy,
but once you lie on it,
it’s flat.
-splat-
The only good thing,
and I stress, the ONLY good thing
is that there’s hot water, in the TINY cubical.)
There is no internet connection in the ROOM!
(I swear I tried like ages, but fine,
to be fair there is connected.
That gets cut off every few seconds.
And hence the lack of edit for the last post.
Damn.)
So the whole seminar consists of listen, take notes, eat, listen, take notes, eat.
=) the cycle continues.
With a few minor… incidents of
“let me rephrase my question, -thinks hard- ”
and
“Sir, I think you misunderstood my point.”.
–Sniggers-
It’s a great experience all,
make new friends,
learning new things,
and things you should never ever do just to gain attention.
Even if you are unaware that you are just gaining some negative attention.
Well, alls well ends well.
Back to daily life now… =)
